Apricot Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. sliced almonds
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (10 oz.) jar apricot jam
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Beat in eggs well one at a time.
    Fold in sour cream and almond extract.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together; fold into creamed mixture.
