Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 tsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pkg. (small) strawberry jello
red food coloring

Preparation

Cook sugar, cornstarch and water until thick.
Remove from heat and add vanilla, jello and red food coloring.
Arrange fresh strawberries on cooked pie shell.
Pour cooled filling over fruit and chill.
Add whipped topping.
