Cheese Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. shredded American cheese
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 bay leaf
    1 1/2 c. water
    10 oz. frozen broccoli
Preparation
    Cook onion in butter.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Add milk and cook until thick.
    Add cheese; stir and remove from heat. In another pot, dissolve chicken cubes in water; add bay leaf and boil.
    Add broccoli; cook until tender.
    Do not drain.
    Blend in cheese sauce.
