Overnight Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage, chopped
    1 large onion, sliced and ringed
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    3/4 c. oil
Preparation
    Layer cabbage and onion in a large bowl.
    Sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups sugar.
    Do not stir.
