Sausage Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground sausage
    margarine, melted
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Brown sausage; crumble and drain, reserving drippings.
    Add margarine to drippings to measure 1/4 cup.
    Set sausage and drippings aside.
    Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in medium bowl.
    Mix egg, milk and 1/4 cup drippings.
    Stir well. Add liquid mixture to dry mixture and stir until moistened.
    Stir in cheese and sausage.
    Spoon into paper lined muffin pans 3/4 full.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 18 minutes.
    Makes 1 dozen.
