Cabbage Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 (18 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped (reserve liquid)
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. dried crushed red pepper (optional, to preferred hotness)
    10 c. shredded cabbage
Preparation
    In a large kettle, brown sausage, beef and onion.
    Drain off fat.
    Add remaining ingredients, except cabbage.
    Mix well.
    Stir in cabbage and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Yields 10 to 12 servings.
