Fried Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. large onions
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3/8 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. paprika
    oil (for deep frying)
Preparation
    Cut onions into 1/4-inch thick slices.
    Separate slices into rings; set aside.
    Combine in a large bowl the flour, salt, paprika and pepper.
    Dip rings into evaporated milk, then coat with flour mixture.
    Cook in hot oil until golden brown.
    Drain on absorbent towel.
    Serves 6.
