Ripe Tomato Catsup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. ripe tomatoes, chopped
    1 qt. onions, chopped
    3 pods hot peppers, chopped
    3 pods sweet peppers, chopped
    3/4 c. salt
    4 c. sugar
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. allspice
Preparation
    Combine tomatoes, onions, peppers and salt; let stand 3 hours. Put mixture in cloth sack or jelly bag.
    Let drain overnight. Combine tomato mixture with sugar, vinegar and allspice; boil for 2 minutes.
    Pack into hot pint jars.
