Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. onion
Preparation
    Pare and slice potatoes thin.
    Make white sauce of butter or margarine, flour and milk.
    Put half the potatoes in a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
    Cover with half the sauce, seasonings and onion.
    Then put the rest of potatoes in and add rest of the sauce. Cover and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven about 1 hour.
    Uncover and continue baking until top is brown.
    Grated cheese may be added to white sauce if desired.
