Fish Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. haddock fillets
    1 large onion
    2 stalks celery, sliced small
    2 medium potatoes, sliced
    2 c. water, salted
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 qt. milk
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. water (plain)
Preparation
    In small kettle, cut up haddock.
    Cook until tender in 1/2 cup water; lay aside.
    In large iron or heavy kettle, cut up onion, celery and potatoes.
    Cook until tender in 2 cups water (salted). When tender, put in cooked fish.
    Add salt, pepper, milk and butter.
    Put on low flame until well heated.
    Do not bring to a boil.
