Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
4 eggs
1 c. cocoa in 2 c. boiling water
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix the first 4 ingredients together in order given.
Sift together remaining ingredients and add to first mixture.
Bake almost 1 hour in a 350\u00b0 oven.
