Microwave Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. margarine, softened
    1 egg
    2/3 c. hot water
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    With electric mixer, cream the sugar and butter.
    Add egg and water.
    Stir in remaining ingredients; blend until smooth.
    Into greased round 8-inch baking dish, pour batter.
    Heat 7 to 9 minutes, giving dish 1/4 turn every 3 minutes.
    Let stand, covered, for 10 minutes.
    Store covered until ready to serve. Makes 1 layer.
