Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. apples, cooked
    5 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Wash and dry apples.
    Peel and slice thin.
    Lay slices out in sun on cloth-covered table or old window screen.
    Cover with another screen or very thin cloth.
    This is to keep insects off. Leave in sun all day.
    Take inside at night.
    If not dry enough, you can put them out the next day.
    Usually they will dry in 1 day if the sun is hot and not cloudy.
    Put in plastic bag and store in freezer.
