Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    2 eggs
    1 c. sour milk (1 c. regular milk plus 2 tsp. vinegar)
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (No. 303) can cream-style corn
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    1/2 to 1 lb. ground meat
    1/2 lb. grated Longhorn cheese
    4 jalapeno peppers, chopped
Preparation
    Mix the first 7 ingredients and set aside.
    Brown ground meat and drain.
    Add cheese and peppers out of the can or jar.
    Grease iron skillet.
    Pour half of the batter into pan.
    Add meat mixture, then cover with remaining batter.
    Bake for 50 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven or until brown.
