Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. tomatoes (canned or fresh)
    6 slices whole wheat bread
    1/2 stick butter or margarine, melted
    1/4 c. brown sugar (can use less)
Preparation
    Pour tomatoes into a 9 x 13-inch greased dish.
    Cut bread into pieces and sprinkle on top of tomatoes.
    Pour butter over bread pieces. Sprinkle brown sugar on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or less until crisp on top.
