Ice Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. crushed Rice Krispies
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 c. chopped nut meats
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Mix together the Rice Krispies, brown sugar, melted butter, coconut and chopped nut meats.
    Press half of the mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Soften the ice cream and spread it over the layer of the Rice Krispie mixture.
    Cover with the rest of the Rice Krispie mixture and press evenly over the top.
    Put in freezer until firm. For serving, cut in pieces and top with a tablespoon of cherry pie filling.
