Angel Flake Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. buttermilk
    5 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add yeast and soda to buttermilk.
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Cut in Crisco until crumbly.
    Pour in buttermilk mixture and work together with fork. Store in a tightly covered container and use as needed.
    Roll to 1/2-inch on pastry cloth and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Do not let rise. Dough will keep at least 10 days in refrigerator.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
