Curried Rabbit With Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 rabbits, dressed
    1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    vegetable oil
    8 potatoes, halved
    10 carrots, sliced
    1 onion, sliced
    2 bay leaves
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    Cut up rabbit into serving size pieces.
    Combine flour, salt, curry powder and paprika in a paper or plastic bag.
    Add the rabbit pieces and shake until each piece is thoroughly covered. Brown the meat in oil in a large skillet.
    Add 1 cup water, cover and simmer for about 1 hour.
    Add the vegetables and the bay leaves; cook an additional 30 minutes or until carrots are tender. Remove rabbit and vegetables.
    Add sour cream and garlic powder to the skillet.
    Heat until thickened for gravy.
