Cheeseburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. ketchup
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    6 slices American cheese
    1 can refrigerator biscuits
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with onions and green peppers in skillet. Drain off fat.
    Add tomato sauce, ketchup, and pepper and heat. Alternate meat mixture and cheese slices in an ungreased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Arrange biscuits around edge of casserole.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
