Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 c. popcorn
    1/2 c. pecans
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. soda
    pinch of cream of tartar
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, margarine and syrup.
    Boil 5 minutes. Add salt, vanilla, soda and cream of tartar (it should foam up). Pour over popcorn and nuts.
    Put in dish and bake at 250\u00b0 to 275\u00b0 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Spread out after removing from oven.
