Apple Crumble - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. cooking apples
sugar to sweeten
cinnamon and raisins (optional)
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. margarine
1/3 c. sugar
Preparation

Peel, core and slice apples.
Grease a 2-pint dish; fill with sliced apples, layered with sugar to taste (add cinnamon and/or raisins, if desired).
Rub butter into flour until mixture resembles breadcrumbs; add sugar and mix.
Sprinkle crumble thickly over fruit; press down lightly.
Put into preheated 375\u00b0 oven and bake for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0; bake about 45 minutes more, until top is light brown.
Serve with cream or ice cream.
