Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

medium onion, chopped
green pepper, chopped
10 1/2 oz. can tomato puree
1 can tomato paste
1 can water
1 to 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 can chili beans (Van Camp's Mexican style)
1 can kidney beans
chili powder to taste
crushed red pepper (if desired)
Preparation

Chop onion and green pepper and saute in oil.
Add tomato puree, tomato paste and water.
Simmer.
Add hamburger; cook about one hour or more.
Add chili beans, kidney beans, chili powder and crushed red pepper, if desired.
Simmer for 40 minutes.
