Horseradish Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. beef shoulder roast
    2 Tbsp. oil
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. tomato juice
    1/4 c. horseradish
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Brown roast in oil in frying pan or Dutch oven.
    Pour off drippings.
    Season meat with salt and pepper.
    Add tomato juice, onion and horseradish.
    Cover and cook slowly 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours.
    Remove roast.
    Combine flour and water and add to cooking liquid.
    Cook and stir until thickened.
