Gooey Butter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 egg
1 stick melted butter
8 oz. cream cheese
3 eggs
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. coconut (optional)

Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients well and pat into 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Mix next 3 ingredients with mixer until fluffy.
Add coconut, if desired.
Pour over cake batter.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
