Frosted Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup (light)
1 c. peanut butter
6 c. Rice Krispies
6 oz. chocolate chips

Preparation

Place sugar and syrup in a large pan; heat until sugar dissolves stirring often.
Remove from heat.
Add peanut butter, stir well.
Add cereal.
Press into buttered 11 x 13-inch pan. Cool.
Melt chocolate chips; spread on top of cereal mix.
Cool and cut into squares.
