Lemon Sponge Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    4 egg yolks
    2 large lemons
    2 c. milk
    beaten egg whites (added last)
Preparation
    In large bowl, cream the sugar and butter together.
    Beat well.
    Add flour and the 4 egg yolks and beat well.
    Add grated rind and juice of the lemons added to the sugar and flour mixture and beat; add the milk and mix.
    Last, beat the egg
    whites and fold into the lemon mixture.
    Pour into two unbaked pie pastry and bake at 375\u00b0.
    Makes 2 pies.
