Beef Barley Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
6 c. water
6 beef bouillon cubes
3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 c. barley
1 large onion, chopped
1 1/4 c. celery, chopped
2 carrots, cut to bite size pieces
Preparation

Brown
ground
beef.
Add water, bouillon cubes, tomato sauce and
Worcestershire
sauce.
Season to taste with salt, pepper, parsley and oregano.
Bring to boil, then add remaining ingredients.
Simmer 1 1/2 hours and serve.
If too thick, you may
add
additional bouillon or plain water.
Makes 6 (1 cup) servings.
