Hot Fudge Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. chocolate chips
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter and chocolate chips in saucepan.
    Add powdered sugar; stir to mix.
    Blend in evaporated milk and cook until thick and smooth, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
    Pour into quart canning jar.
    Store in refrigerator.
