Stir-Fry Chicken And Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. Kluski egg noodles
    1 to 2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 boned and skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
    1/2 medium red onion, halved lengthwise and thinly sliced
    1 medium zucchini, cut into 1-inch cubes
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 large carrot, shredded
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tsp. basil leaves
    1 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Heat oil and butter in skillet. Add chicken and onion. Stir-fry 2 minutes. Cook noodles according to directions. Add remaining ingredients to skillet, except for noodles. Stir-fry until chicken is no longer pink and vegetables are crisp-tender. Add noodles; toss to mix. Heat through. Serve immediately. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
