Marinated Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (17 oz.) whole kernel yellow corn, drained
    1 can (17 oz.) carrots, julienne cut, drained
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. diced green pepper
    1 c. diced red onion
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. oil
Preparation
    Combine vegetables, tossing lightly.
    Add celery, green pepper and onions to vegetables.
    Bring sugar, vinegar and oil to a boil and pour over vegetables.
    Marinate 24 hours.
