Ranch-Style Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. (2 1/2 lb. small) red potatoes, quartered
    1/3 c. water
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
    1/2 c. Ranch dressing
    1 c. chopped pepper (red or green)
    1/3 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. Ranch dressing
    3 Tbsp. bacon bits
Preparation
    Microwave potatoes and water in covered dish on High for 14 to 16 minutes, stirring after 8 minutes. Drain.
    Put cheese and dressing in microwave until cheese is melted.
    Stir in potatoes. Add other ingredients.
    Mix lightly.
    Serve warm or refrigerated.
