Savory Sausage Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 lb. bulk sausage
    1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
    3/4 c. grated Swiss cheese
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    6 drops Tabasco sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
    2 c. biscuit mix
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1 egg yolk
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Saute onions and sausage until brown and crumbly.
    Drain fat off.
    Add cheeses, egg, Tabasco sauce, salt and parsley.
    Combine the biscuit mix, milk and mayonnaise.
    Place half of biscuit batter in greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Pour sausage mixture over batter.
    Mix egg yolk with water; brush on top.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for approximately 30 minutes.
    Cool 5 to 8 minutes before cutting. Serves 6 for breakfast or brunch.
