Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. cold water
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    1/4 c. powdered strawberry gelatin
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch and cold water.
    Cook slowly until thick and clear.
    Stir in the strawberry gelatin.
    Arrange fresh strawberries on a cooled, baked pie crust.
    Pour mixture over strawberries.
    Chill in refrigerator several hours.
    Cover with whipped cream, if desired.
