Best Bet Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
strawberry jello
cream or Cool Whip

Preparation

Thicken water, sugar and cornstarch on stove.
Add 4 tablespoons strawberry jello; let cool.
(May add red food coloring for more color if you wish.)
Bake pie shell.
Fill the shell with strawberries.
Cover strawberries with filling.
Let set in refrigerator until chilled.
Cover with cream or Cool Whip.
