Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices white bread
    1 qt. milk
    4 eggs
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cut white bread into cubes with crusts.
    Soak for 5 minutes in scalded milk.
    Beat eggs slightly; add vanilla.
    Add to bread mixture, blending in well.
    Stir in raisins.
    Pour in greased casserole and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
    Bake 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven or until knife comes out clean.
    Sometimes I will use raisin bread and leave out the raisins.
