Flying Saucers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2/3 c. molasses
1/4 c. milk
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
3 1/4 c. regular oats, uncooked
2/3 c. raisins
Preparation

Beat butter; gradually add sugars, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer.
Add egg, molasses and milk; mix well. Combine flour and next 4 ingredients; add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
Stir in oats and raisins.
Shape dough into 2-inch balls.
Place on lightly greased cookie sheets and flatten each ball with palm of hand.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheeets; remove to wire racks and cool completely. Yield:
3 1/2 dozen.
