Cornbread For A Chili Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. unbleached white flour
    1 1/4 c. corn meal
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    5 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 1/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Sift the dry ingredients together.
    Set aside.
    Beat the eggs; add the milk and melted butter.
    Add the dry ingredients and stir well.
    Spread the batter in a buttered 9-inch pie pan.
    Cook in a preheated 375\u00b0 oven for about 30 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges.
