Hanover'S Brisket - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 or 5 lb. brisket
    1 can consomme soup
    1 small bottle soy sauce
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    garlic to taste
    1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
    1/2 c. barbecue sauce
Preparation
    Combine ingredients, all but barbecue sauce, pour over meat and marinate overnight.
    Bake in liquid for 4 hours for 4 pounds or 5 hours for 5 pounds at 300\u00b0.
    Baste occasionally during baking. Cover until last hour and then remove cover and pour cup barbecue sauce over and increase temperature to 350\u00b0.
