Shanty Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 potatoes, sliced as if to fry
    1/2 stick (1/4 c.) margarine
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place potatoes, margarine, oil and onion in a large skillet. Add water to cover.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Cover; cook over medium heat until potatoes are done (they will be thick like gravy) adding water as needed and stirring occasionally.
