Pecan Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. coconut (optional)
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    lemon juice
Preparation
    Sift flour before measuring.
    Blend 1 cup flour and the butter to a smooth paste.
    Spread this mixture in a 9 x 12-inch pan; bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes.
    Spread the baked dough with the following mixture:
    combine beaten eggs, brown sugar, pecans 2 tablespoons flour, coconut (if desired), baking powder, salt and vanilla.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Stir lemon juice into confectioners sugar a little at a time, until spreading consistency, then ice cookies after they have cooled.
    Cut into squares or bars.
