Hot Buttered Rum - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. cider or apple juice
    2 Tbsp. butter
    cinnamon or nutmeg
    1/4 c. light or dark corn syrup
    6 to 8 oz. dark rum
Preparation
    Combine cider
    and
    corn syrup and heat until butter is melted but not
    boiling.
    Pour
    1
    to 1 1/2 ounces of rum into each serving
    cup.
    Add
    hot cider mixture and sprinkle either of spices or serve with a cinnamon stick.
