Butterfly Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    6 chops (3/4-inch thick)
    3/4 c. water
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation
    Heat oil in large skillet and brown chops. Add water, soup mix, soy sauce and ginger.
    Cover tightly and simmer 45 to 60 minutes.
    Make gravy and serve with rice.
