Old Fashioned Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    3 eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine sugar, flour and nutmeg.
    Beat 3 egg yolks and 3 egg whites.
    Add to dry ingredients.
    Beat well.
    Add milk.
    Stir in melted butter; pour into pie crust.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes longer.
