Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (in syrup)
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
    1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 stick oleo or butter, cut in thin slices
    ice cream (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan. Dump undrained pineapple into pan.
    Spread evenly. Dump in pie filling and spread into an even layer.
    Dump dry cake mix onto cherry layer; spread evenly. Sprinkle pecans over cake mix.
    Put oleo evenly over top. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes.
    Serve warm or cool with ice cream, if desired.
