Chicken Pockets With Cheese Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans chunk white chicken
    1 can crescent rolls
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar, grated
    1 can cream of mushroom
    1/4 small onion, finely chopped
    1/2 stick butter
Preparation
    Put equal amounts of chicken into each rectangle of crescent roll.
    Fold and press sides together to form pockets.
    Place into slightly greased 8 x 8-inch casserole dish.
    Over medium heat in medium size pan, combine milk, 1 cup cheese, soup, onion and butter.
    Stir until cheese melts.
    Pour mixture over pockets; top with remaining cheese.
    Lightly salt and pepper.
    Bake uncovered approximately 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serve with steamed rice or tossed salad.
