Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. fine, dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. finely chopped onions
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 Tbsp. shortening
2 cans golden mushroom soup
1 c. drained tomatoes, chopped
4 Tbsp. vinegar
4 Tbsp. brown sugar
dash of pepper
Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients.
Form into meatballs and brown in shortening.
Drain.
Mix last 5 ingredients and pour over meatballs in skillet.
Cook over low heat until well heated. Serve over rice.
