Fig - Strawberry Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. figs, mashed
    3 c. sugar
    2 pkg. strawberry Jell-O or wild strawberry
Preparation
    Wash figs and cut off any dark spots.
    Mash and mix other ingredients together.
    Cook 3 or 4 minutes at a hard boil.
    Put in jars and cover with wax.
    When cooled, store in refrigerator.
