Stuffed Mushrooms Ala Houghton - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. cooked crab, shrimp or lobster, minced
    4 water chestnuts, minced
    1 small onion, minced
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. dry sherry
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1 egg, beaten
    12 mushrooms (1 1/2 to 2-inches)
    bread crumbs or Parmesan cheese, grated (your choice)
Preparation
    Remove mushroom stems.
    Finely chop and saute in olive oil. Combine all ingredients except mushroom caps.
    Fill mushroom caps with mixture. Sprinkle with bread crumbs or Parmesan cheese. Place in a greased shallow baking pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Serves 4.
