Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    fresh strawberries
    pie shell
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil and boil hard for 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool completely. Wash and drain fresh strawberries on paper towel. Frozen strawberries cannot be used. Bake pie shell and cool. Place berries in pie shell. Pour syrup mixture over berries. Let stand in the refrigerator for 5 or 6 hours. Top with whipped cream before serving.
