Crispy Kisses - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 c. sugar coated puffed wheat
    1 pkg. chocolate chips (6 oz.)
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat the egg whites until foamy; sprinkle in salt and cream of tartar.
    Continue beating until shiny and stiff.
    Beat in sugar 2 tablespoons at a time.
    Stir in chocolate chips and puffed wheat. Stir in vanilla.
    Drop in heaping teaspoonfuls on a cookie sheet covered with heavy brown paper.
    Bake in a slow oven (300\u00b0) for 25 minutes.
    Remove from paper while warm.
    Cool before storing.
